Vans Skatepark / Milpitas

- On June 23 Vans opened the doors to the new park at the Great Mall in Milpitas. The Park is huge and has everything you could ask for from a skatepark in a mall. Street course, hipped mini ramp, vert ramp, Mickey Mouse bowl, washboard, and a ten foot deep clamshell bowl that has flawless trannies and killer pool coping. Not to mention tons of hot girls hangin out all day watching from behind the chain link fence. This place rips. The prices are pretty steep for a skatepark and they have adopted the lame ass 2 hour "sessions" that are so popular in southern California, but all in all this is a must skate.

- from 880 in Milpitas take Great Mall Parkway east until you see the mall. It's huge, you'll see it. The park is on the North West side of the mall.

- Full pads but workable

- $11-$14* without membership
$7-$9* with $50 yearly membership *(depending on the time of day)
